Manager, Clinical Operations Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a qualified Manager of Clinical Operations to lead the Child and Youth MHSU Team within the Vancouver Community. This position encompasses oversight of community programs such as the DTES Youth Outreach Team, SACY, Leadership Resiliency Program, Youth CAIT, Youth ICMT, and various community provider contracts. Ideal candidates will have experience in CYMHSU services. Responsibilities Provide clinical and operational leadership to a frontline clinical department that supervises Nurses at Level 4 or 5. Deliver services through multidisciplinary teams in acute and/or community settings. Lead operations management, planning, implementation, and evaluation of utilization, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives. Address client and family needs to ensure smooth transition from acute care to community services. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve excellence in client‑centric care, education, and research across multiple sites. Education & Experience Baccalaureate (Masters preferred) in a relevant clinical field with 7–10 years of recent, progressive clinical leadership experience, including direct supervisory experience. Current registration or membership with a recognized professional association. Basic computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, and the use of a computerized patient care information system. Knowledge & Abilities Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, manage, and evaluate clinical programs in complex settings. Maintain strong relationships with partners to promote services with sensitivity to diversity and Indigenous perspectives. Advocate for inclusion and support of diverse groups throughout engagement. Understand and manage resources to keep quality priorities, provide budget analyses, and recommend corrective actions. Facilitate resolution of human resource issues. Support staff development and foster professional practice. Promote clinical research opportunities to ensure evidence‑based practice within an interdisciplinary team.
