Essential Functions: Monitor dedicated accounts payable inbox for invoice submissions and answer vendor inquiriesReview, verify, and match documentationCoding and posting of both disbursements and general expensesObtain necessary approvals and ensure proper documentation is attached to all invoicesManage a variety of internal and external vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepanciesReview employee expense reports, ensuring policy alignment and proper coding through our automated workflowExecute weekly EFT and wire payment runs (multi-currency)Process vendor set-up information into the accounting systemReconcile vendor and visa accounts with statements and previous paymentsWork in a multi-currency and entity environmentAct as back-up to National accounts payable team membersOther responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications: Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred3+ years of experience in accounts payable within a law firm or a professional services industryStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple prioritiesExperience working in a company with a high volume of transactions is preferredProven ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teamsDemonstrates good judgment and professionalismExperience using Aderant is an asset Apply To: Human ResourcesBennett Jones Services Limited Partnership4500 Bankers Hall East, 855 – 2 Street SWCalgary, AB T2P 4K7E-mail: hrdeptcal@bennettjones.com All offers of employment are conditional upon the satisfactory verification of a Canadian criminal record check.
