Job Description:

The EMT will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT will cover standby assignment, as operations require.

Education Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) Licenses Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards) Valid Class 4 driver's license Other Education and Training International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS) Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C) Competencies Basic - Interpersonal skills Basic - Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work and communicate in a cross cultural setting Other Information Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call Clean Driver's Abstract Rosetown is located approximately 117 km west of Saskatoon Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level For more information on the town of Rosetown please visit https://www.rosetown.ca/
