McCowan Design & Manufacturing – Account Manager McCowan Design & Manufacturing, a leading Canadian designer and manufacturer of retail store fixtures and merchandising systems based in Scarborough, seeks a professional, energetic and high‑performance individual for the position of Account Manager. This role involves managing some of the company’s largest and fastest‑growing accounts, while developing new business throughout North America. No two days will be the same Key Skills Required Relationship‑building capabilities Excellent problem‑solving skills with a technical mindset Appetite for learning Attention to details and organization Responsibilities Drive new sales opportunities and develop existing customer accounts Prepare and convert accurate fixture quotes into orders by completing take‑offs from drawings Manage and monitor full project cycles with responsive communication Collaborate with internal departments for accuracy and customer satisfaction Handle store orders, special projects, and administrative functions, including inventory management Communicate customer requirements to engineering/design teams Develop a deep understanding of clients’ industries and challenges for future business opportunities Prepare accurate forecasts and sales plans for accounts Maintain a highly organized approach with strong analytical skills Excel in verbal and written communication Proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel, Word, Windows, and PowerPoint Qualifications Preferred University or college degree with approximately 5+ years of work experience Bilingual (French) would be an asset Reporting and Support The position reports directly to the Director of Sales and receives additional support from our account coordinators and engineering/design department.
