Organization and Location Branch Office: Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Job Details Position: Client Service Specialist Schedule: Full‑time Status: Permanent Full‑time Responsibilities Account openings – confirm with the client, follow through with signatures, and coordinate with the back office. Process and follow up on security transactions and transfers. Ensure all clients’ accounts are up to date. Liaise with clients to respond to requests, proactively solve problems, and support client relationships. Administer account statements monthly via email. Handle general day‑to‑day client requests. Review client trades with utmost accuracy, ensuring timely settlement. Collaborate with corporate back office to complete client inquiries and requests. Prepare and review daily/monthly/annual reports, client correspondence, and take ownership of project work. Social media marketing, monitoring, and posting. Maintain Financial Advisor files and calendar. Perform general office duties. Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new applications. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with clients and colleagues. Proficient in quantitative analysis and adept at problem solving. Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints, and follow up. Post‑secondary education in Business Administration. Experience with Dataphile and CRM software is an asset. Investment Representative (IR) licensing, including completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook, is required, or willingness to pursue IR licensing within 12 months of joining.
