Job Title: VP of Managed Care
Location: Hybrid - Orlando, FL
Type: Direct Hire - $140k - $170k
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced VP of Managed Care to lead and manage strategic relationships with healthcare providers and insurance companies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare insurance contracting, including renegotiations, and a deep understanding of the healthcare regulatory landscape.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with healthcare providers and third-party insurance payors.
- Lead contract renegotiations to ensure favorable terms and compliance with industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both managed care and non-managed care third-party payors.
- Ensure all contracts comply with regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector.
- Provide strategic guidance on managed care operations and contractual obligations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in third-party healthcare insurance contracting, including contract renegotiation.
- Established relationships within the healthcare industry, including managed care and non-managed care payors.
