Position: Film and Video Editor Type: Independent Contractor Compensation: $60–$100/hour Location: US, UK, or Canada Duration: 3–4 weeks Commitment: 15+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Design questions related to the Film and Video Editing occupation using professional experience. Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines. Ensure the quality and relevance of questions to improve AI model training. Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality. Utilize a desktop or laptop computer for project tasks (Chromebooks not supported). Qualifications 4+ years full-time work experience as a Film and Video Editor. Be based in the US, UK, or Canada. Compensation & Legal Industry-standard compensation expectations will be met. Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged project hours. Classified as an at-will contractor to Mercor. Cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
