Organization: Mercor Position: Film and Video Editor Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $60–$100/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Base pay range $60.00/hr – $100.00/hr Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided) Use your professional expertise as a Film and Video Editor to design and evaluate questions related to your field. Contribute creative and technical insights to help improve AI models’ understanding of film editing, storytelling, and visual composition. Analyze and assess AI‑generated responses for quality, accuracy, and adherence to film editing principles. Collaborate asynchronously with Mercor’s research teams to refine project outcomes. Requirements Strong experience working full‑time as a Film and Video Editor. Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and post‑production techniques. Excellent written communication and ability to describe editing decisions clearly. Must have access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
