Employer Industry: Financial Technology (Fintech) Why consider this job opportunity Salary up to $165,450 for candidates in NYC or SF; up to $148,950 for candidates in other locations Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Comprehensive benefits including 100% medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage Flexible PTO and WFH stipend to support your home office needs Significant ownership of projects with the freedom to innovate and execute ideas Access to wellness and fertility benefits, as well as parental leave and pet insurance What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Leverage internal and external performance data to develop fraud policies that create value for the employer and its customers Conduct root cause analyses on individual fraud events and develop data‑driven fraud defenses Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to implement fraud policies and features Monitor fraud risk metrics by researching and resolving risk events Partner with data scientists to build and utilize fraud risk models in the employer’s risk policy What is Required (Qualifications) Minimum 2 years of experience in fraud risk management or a quantitative strategy role Minimum 2 years of experience using SQL, Python, or R for data retrieval and manipulation Excellent written and verbal communication skills How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience in high‑growth startups Experience within consumer/corporate/small business cards, payments, invoices, lending, or related industries We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
