Responsibilities Build and manage relationships with a referral network to develop a pipeline of new mortgage business and increase BMO’s share of the home financing market. Actively identify sales opportunities and refer prospects to BMO colleagues as appropriate. Develop and execute marketing and sales programs to drive business results. Provide exceptional customer service and expertise throughout mortgage application and processing activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate policy requirements. Collaborate with branch teams to hand off customers, finalize documentation, and refer customers to other BMO services. Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance. Engage in community events and trade shows to expand your network and generate referrals. Qualifications 3–5 years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience. In‑depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills. Expertise in self‑management, teamwork, and personal lending strategy. Functional knowledge of banking, investments, trust services, business and commercial lending, and cash management. Strong knowledge of the real‑estate industry and mortgage market. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaborative team orientation and strong analytical problem‑solving abilities. Compensation Pay Type: CommissionSalary is variable and includes performance‑based incentives. Salary details vary by location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role and may be pro‑rated for part‑time positions.
