Job Title: Senior Data AnalystLocation: Hybrid (3 days onsite at 250 Bloor, 2 days remote)Duration: 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or FTE conversionStart Date: ASAP Rate: 80-86 INC About the RoleWe’re seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our GWAM Data Office/Engineering team and play a key role in shaping our data-driven digital transformation. This role requires a strong background in data analysis and a proven ability to leverage Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance data insights, streamline workflows, and accelerate business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements-gathering sessions and produce key documentation (BRD, STM, data dictionaries).Conduct in-depth data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure high data quality and integrity.Integrate and manage new data sources in data lakes or warehouses, aligning with enterprise data strategy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data assets meeting business needs.Lead UAT activities and ensure timely stakeholder sign-offs.Apply GenAI techniques to automate data discovery, documentation, and reporting processes, improving analytics efficiency and decision-making.Required Qualifications5–10 years of experience as a Data Analyst in Wealth Management, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking domains.Strong hands-on expertise with SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing.Proven experience with data-centric projects (MDM, integration, reporting, or big data analytics).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with major trading and performance platforms (e.g., Bloomberg Polar Lake, SimCorp Dimension, Charles River, etc.).Experience leveraging Generative AI tools and frameworks (preferably within Azure cloud) to enhance data analysis and business intelligence workflows.Preferred Skills2–3 years of hands-on GenAI experience—developing or integrating AI-powered analytics or automation solutions.Exposure to Azure cloud and modern data engineering ecosystems.Why Join UsOpportunity to drive innovation using GenAI in financial data analytics.Collaborative, growth-oriented environment with flexible hybrid work.Strong potential for career advancement and conversion to full-time.
