The team is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive impactful sustainability projects from concept through completion.


Job Description: As a Senior Engineer specializing in Net Zero and Sustainability, you will lead complex building systems projects, focusing on HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing. Your role will include overseeing design and project management for healthcare, laboratory, and other large-scale building projects, with a strong emphasis on net-zero carbon strategies.

  • Lead the development of net-zero and low-carbon building solutions, with a focus on achieving environmental goals in line with industry standards.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met while upholding quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, guiding them through project requirements, updates, and milestones, while providing expert advice on sustainable solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including design, to coordinate project requirements and implement best practices.
  • Apply expertise in HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems, ensuring designs are both effective and sustainable. Experience with healthcare and laboratory facilities is an asset.

Qualifications:

  • Must obtain Professional Engineering (P.li>
  • Demonstrated experience with net-zero and low-carbon building projects is essential.
  • Minimum of 10 years in consulting engineering, with specific knowledge in HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems for buildings.
  • Proven track record managing client-facing projects, from planning through to final completion.
  • Healthcare and Laboratory Experience is preferred, but not required.
