Primary Responsibilities Support environmental permitting and perform compliance monitoring. Conduct wildlife, vegetation and/or aquatics surveys on projects throughout western Canada. Plan and carry out field work, including focused surveys and habitat assessments. Coordinate with regulatory agencies. Prepare technical reports for clients and regulators. Perform other project‑related duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in biology, zoology, ecology, limnology or closely related field. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Environmental monitoring experience. Multidisciplinary experience (wildlife, vegetation, soils). Knowledge of federal and provincial environmental permitting processes. Experience with biological impacts analyses (provincial and federal permitting). SPIGEC 6 qualification preferred. General knowledge of construction monitoring, including during frozen conditions. Experience interpreting environmental protection plans considered an asset. Quantitative and analytical skills helpful. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology or closely related field. Minimum of 5 years experience managing biological/environmental projects. Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong oral and written communication skills. Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must.
