VP of Business Development at MLINK Logistics As a Remote Freight Brokerage Agent with MLINK Logistics, you will operate as an Independent Contractor, managing your own customers and carriers. You will oversee the complete transportation process from start to finish, using your industry expertise and connections to move freight efficiently and profitably. This is a commission-only role with 70% of gross profit paid directly to you. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow new shipper relationships across the U.S. and Canada Source, vet, and qualify dependable carriers for available loads Negotiate competitive rates with both shippers and carriers Manage the end-to-end transportation cycle—quoting, booking, dispatching, tracking, and delivery follow-up Maintain strong communication with customers and carriers to ensure on-time service Work independently while following MLINK Logistics’ procedures and compliance standards Requirements Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a Freight Broker / Freight Agent Established shipper network in the U.S. and/or Canada (required) Strong understanding of freight operations, market dynamics, and industry regulations Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment Access to a computer, reliable internet, and a phone Proficiency with load boards and transportation management systems What We Offer 70% commission on gross profit Full autonomy – Work remotely and manage your own book of business Back-office support for paperwork, compliance, and invoicing Access to professional tools and load boards Opportunity to grow within one of Canada’s fastest-growing logistics networks If you’re a driven and experienced Freight Brokerage Agent with an existing customer base and a passion for logistics, we invite you to join MLINK Logistics.
