2026 (Jan) | Sessional Instructional Asst. | RSM2123H | Intl Business in World Economy Faculty/Division: School of Management Department: School of Management Campus: St. George (Downtown) Description: Assist in grading assignments Proctor final exam Invigilate tests and exams as required Hold tutorials and office hours Other duties as assigned Qualification: Individual with a graduate degree, strong academic background in Economics. PhD preferred or suitably qualified graduate. Familiarity with course materials, supporting educational concepts and previous TA experience strongly preferred. Previous experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience for this position. Class Schedule: Courses may be online or in‑person, so candidates must be available and comfortable with both. Sessional Dates of Appointment: Jan 1 – Jan 30, 2026 Minimum hourly rate:Jan 1, 2026: $54.27 plus 4% vacation paySep 1, 2026: $55.25 plus 4% vacation pay Notes: This job is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement. Undergraduate or graduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the University of Toronto are covered by the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 collective agreement rather than the Unit 3 collective agreement, and should not apply for positions posted under the Unit 3 collective agreement.
