Human Resources Assistant

Naylor Building Partnerships Inc. is c urrently recruiting for an HR Assistant to join us for a 12 month full-time contract position.This role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department at our Oakville head office. HR Co-op Students are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide recruitment support to the HR Department which includes screening resumes, posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, conducting references, drafting offers etc.
- Coordinate the process for new hires and facilitating in-person and virtual orientations
- Update and maintain HRIS system, i.e. vacation tracking, updating training records etc.
- Provide back-up for WSIB claims administration and maintaining WSIB log
- General office duties, such as answering phones, filing, drafting employee communication and correspondence, production of various reports etc.
Requirements:
- Certificate/College Diploma or University Degree in Human Resources Management completed or in progress
- Strong administrative skills, specifically MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Professionalism, tact and diplomacy
