OverviewWe invite you to join our team as a Community Activity Worker in the beautiful city of Kelowna, located in the Okanagan Valley. This is a permanent part-time position (0.62 FTE) and works dayshifts on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.Your RoleIn this role, you will play a vital part in implementing established activities to meet clients’ activation, life skills, recreational, and social needs, fostering their overall social, physical, and emotional well-being. The position involves assisting clients with activities of daily living, promoting independence, and encouraging their participation in various activities. You may adapt and modify activities to cater to the special needs of clients, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment.What Kelowna OffersNestled in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, Kelowna offers a blend of urban and outdoor experiences, including a vibrant cultural scene, wineries, farm-to-table dining, vineyards, orchards, and lakeside parks.
