What will you do?

  • Develop predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted big data sources.
  • Oversee the acquisition and ingestion of data from structured and unstructured sources, ensuring quality and comprehensiveness of data.
  • Lead data exploration and analytic projects and provide ongoing coaching on big data topics (visualization, data mining, analytic techniques).
  • Explore and implement semantic data capabilities through NLP, text mining, and machine learning techniques.

Must-have

  • Excellent problem-solving and proven analytical skills, with a high degree of initiative.
  • Basic knowledge of programming in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading from a wide variety of data sources.
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate multi-tasking skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Business Intelligence Reporting & visualizations using Tableau or similar products.
  • Exposure to Capital Markets products and businesses.
  • Experience in RBC Finance/Risks big data projects.
