We need you to complete our team as part of the Canadian Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Operational Training Unit (OTU) instructor cadre in Ottawa. This is a full-time position.

Provide Pilot subject matter expertise (SME) support to the Mission Intelligence Coordinator (MIC) course.Ensure delivered training is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan, per applicable training standards.Delivery of synthetic training using complex simulators and scenario generation systems.Contribute to development of courseware and teaching aids.Perform occasional travel in support of the project.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  1. Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  2. Experience with writing and amending multi-media instructional courseware.
  3. Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met per Training Standards.
  4. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or on a valid Work Permit.
  5. Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods and a Government of Canada NATO SECRET security clearance.
  6. Manned aircraft Instrument rating.

  • Exposure to Signals intelligence.
  • Experience as a Standard Unit or Central Flying School member.
