Information Technology Support Engineer

Base Pay Range $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr Qualifications Associate Degree in information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 2+ years of IT Support experience. Experience working in a global company. Strong technical skills supporting x86/x64 hardware platforms, Windows 10, MacOS, Apple iOS, and Android mobile OS. Technical knowledge in network switching devices and firewalls, servers and storage subsystems. Working knowledge of audio/video conferencing equipment. Working knowledge of diagnostic utilities and core applications, including PC diagnostics, SCCM, security endpoint protection software, MFA & VPN. Experience in an Active Directory environment including SCCM (SMS). Experience with Mac OS X, JAMF is a plus. Experience working with 3rd party vendors in support and contract areas. Knowledge navigating 3rd party vendor applications and websites. Concentrated focus on defect reduction and quality of services. Excellent customer relations and support skills. Experience working in a team-oriented, global, collaborative environment. Diagnostic capabilities: laptop/desktop repair, whole unit replacement, COTS application troubleshooting, manual imaging. System fault verification and troubleshooting. Conference support (AV/VC) health check. Business application support. Respond to incidents. Rack and stack support including networking, firewall, server, storage. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve IT support issues for end users. Perform hardware and software troubleshooting on Windows, macOS, and mobile devices. Use diagnostic tools and imaging software to repair devices. Maintain configuration and inventory via SCCM and other tools. Provide AV/VC equipment support during meetings. Collaborate with vendors for component replacement and resolution. Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system. Participate in global, team-oriented support operations. Assist in network, firewall, server, and storage support tasks.
