Insurance Sales Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide product and Admin support as part of a sales team for the existing client base. Working as part of a sales team to develop existing opportunities and create new relationships that fit into the current objectives of the company as a whole Provide ongoing support to the Sales manager as part of the role. While working in a team environment, provide exceptional service to clients and support for other team members as required Apply for licensing, training and continuing education where needed as part of progressive career development Communicate results, outstanding issues, national industry trends and business opportunities to the Management team Build strong relationships with accounts in an assigned territory to support existing business and generate new business opportunities where appropriate Provide support for special projects and any other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS: Fluency (verbal and written) in the following languages: French, Punjabi, Hindi is needed Minimum 5 years of demonstrated sales experience preferred LLQP and or RIBO licensing are an asset Must have reliable car and driver’s license as some travel will be involved in this role In-depth technical knowledge and experience working in group creditor life, disability and related property/casualty lines of business Knowledge of Commercial underwriting principles, concepts and methodologies Knowledge of both the automobile and commercial finance and leasing industries Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team Strong oral and written communication skills Computer skills including Microsoft Office Superior customer service skills and business acumen
