This mobile mortgage specialist brings home ownership to members by providing expert mortgage advice from home or in the community. Job Purpose As a Mobile Mortgage Specialist, you’ll work with current and prospective members to help them achieve home ownership by offering personalized mortgage consultation, managing the application process, and guiding them through underwriting and regulations. You’ll enjoy a comprehensive commission plan that rewards initiative across mortgages, investments, credit cards, commercial referrals, and insurance. Accountabilities Establish and nurture ongoing relationships with prospective clients, providing custom mortgage consultation and ensuring satisfaction through consistent follow‑ups. Keep abreast of regulatory changes, review mortgage applications for underwriting standards, maintain audit records, and educate clients on mortgage process requirements. Offer expert mortgage advice, drive sales to surpass targets, and employ consultative sales initiatives to attract new clients. Identify and proactively reach out to potential clients via social media and other channels, build a robust lead pipeline, and analyze market trends for new opportunities. Join local business and community groups, establish partnerships with real estate agents and builders, and use online networking to generate referral sources. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years in strategic sales and networking. Extensive knowledge of the real estate and economic market in British Columbia. Knowledge of current residential mortgage products and services. Ability to analyze financial information and mortgage applications. Expertise in mortgage underwriting standards and regulations. Proficiency with CRM software for client relationship management. Familiarity with digital marketing tools for lead generation. Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the mortgage industry.
