About this team As the Senior Technology Manager for Data & AI Security, you will be a key leader within the Technology organization, responsible for shaping and executing the vision for secure, compliant, and resilient data and AI platforms across a rapidly scaling global business. You will lead a team of security engineers and program managers focused on embedding security and regulatory compliance into every layer of our data & AI ecosystems. As the leader of this team, you will drive the development and implementation of security frameworks, controls, and tooling that support secure data lifecycle management for structured and unstructured data, AI model governance, and regulatory alignment. You will partner closely with engineering, digital, and compliance teams to ensure that our data and AI capabilities are not only innovative but also trustworthy and defensible. Core responsibilities Leadership & Strategy – Inspire a culture of innovation and continuous collaboration. Build and drive a multi-year roadmap; develop, lead, and mentor a team of security engineers and PMs focused on protecting our data and AI/ML systems Security Strategy & Architecture – define and execute the security strategy for data platforms aligned with enterprise risk, GRC, and business goals and objectives Technical guidance and Execution – provide hands-on technical leadership in designing and implementing security controls, guide threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and secure designs for AI and data-related projects; collaborate with engineering and digital teams to embed security in operational processes Communication & Collaboration – partner with enterprise architecture, engineering, digital, legal teams to build and sustain alignment of cross-functional strategies and plans; collaborate and partner with cyber awareness on organizational change management activities including comms, user awareness and training; act as a liaison between cybersecurity, engineering, and digital teams Vendor partnership & management – evaluate, negotiate, onboard, and manage third-party vendors and tools related to data/AI security; ensure vendor solutions meet internal security standards and risk due diligence processes Budget management – Define and garner agreement to annual budgets and operating plans. Keep leadership and stakeholders updated on progress, risks, and issues. Work together to ensure key capabilities are delivered with quality and meet business objectives. Qualifications 8-10 years of experience enabling key business priorities through the successful delivery and support of cyber programs and initiatives Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks including NIST, SOX, PCI, GDPR and other global data privacy regulations Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical and operational controls within data & AI platforms Experience with secure data lifecycle management including encryption, access controls, data retention policies 6+ years as a people leader overseeing a broad range of talent across multiple work locations Demonstrated experience as a high-performance technology team responsible for implementing, enhancing, maintaining data security solutions and controls Proven track record in building & sustaining high performing teams capable of driving technical modernization Ability to provide evidence of building strong, cohesive teams with emphasis on inclusion, diversity, equity, individual growth, and structures to support team development Experience managing priorities with key stakeholders and vendors with evidence of using strong analytical skills and supporting examples of metrics Budget management expertise: previous experience directly overseeing CAPEX & OPEX investments to ensure efficient spend management Must haves Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life. Compensation and benefits package lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this positionis from $158,900 - $208,500 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
