ERP Programmer Analyst - SAGE Software Support

NSB Omega is searching for a Programmer Analyst - SAGE Software Support for our Client in St. John's, NL.

The selected SAGE Software Support resource(s) will be responsible for analysis, troubleshooting, support, training, and upgrading of SAGE products for various departments located across the province of Newfoundland Labrador. The assignment is time and materials based, not project based.

Assignment Description

  1. Supporting and troubleshooting 3 installations of SAGE Customer Relationship Management (CRM), 7 installations of SAGE 50, and 9 installations of SAGE 300 for various client departments across government;
  2. Working with clients to upgrade and install version updates of SAGE software which may include database and webserver changes as well as any customization retrofitting required;
  3. Working with clients to enhance and implement SAGE CRM software, creating and supporting customizations to meet business needs;
  4. Working with clients on the creation, enhancement, and support of Crystal Reports;
  5. Working closely with clients to resolve any production or performance issues related to their SAGE software;
  6. Working with clients in multiple locations across the province of Newfoundland and Labrador;
  7. Providing oversight, guidance, and training to clients and OCIO SAGE Support team in their use/support of the systems, especially after a software version upgrade or system enhancement;
  8. Providing OCIO required documentation after software version upgrades or enhancements;
  9. Guiding and assisting clients with system testing related to upgrades;
  10. Liaising with SAGE vendor for direction as per client issue, upgrade, or other relevant information as required;
  11. Providing support for 3rd party integration tools such as PrintBoss, used with the SAGE software;
  12. Following policies and work processes of the OCIO's Design and Delivery Branch.

Qualifications Required

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. Certifications (Optional but beneficial):
    1. Sage Certifications: Sage offers various certifications for its software suite (e.g., Sage 100, Sage 300, Sage X3).
    2. ERP Certifications: Certifications in ERP systems in general (like Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle ERP, or SAP).
