(Please note that hours are subject to change.)Basic RequirementsUniversity degree or a three-year college diploma in behavioral sciences, psychology or other health related disciplineKnowledge and understanding of brain injury and rehabilitationKnowledge, understanding, skills and ability to apply behavioural analysis and intervention techniques to brain injured clientsExcellent oral and written communication, social, problem‑solving skills, judgment, flexibility and initiativeWell developed organizational, listening and observational skills, ability to make effective decisions, analyze contradictory information, manage multiple tasks and activities concurrently and make sound recommendations as requiredTraining and experience in crisis prevention and interventionDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team settingFirst Aid and CPR certificatesEligible to work in CanadaPreferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of Microsoft software programs (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook)Proficiency in English and French - oral expression and comprehension at advanced levelBenefitsThe Ottawa Hospital is committed to providing a healthy, safe, and inclusive work environment for everyone.
