About The Job We are looking for an Account Executive I who thrives on outbound enterprise sales and wants to drive revenue growth by acquiring new channel partners in targeted industry verticals. In this role you will help small and medium‑sized businesses succeed while shaping the future of AI for local economies. Your Impact Identify and engage high‑potential prospects using outbound sales strategies, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling. Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations, positioning Vendasta’s platform as the ideal solution for channel partners. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a seamless transition from acquisition to onboarding. Maintain an active sales pipeline by nurturing leads, following up consistently, and progressing opportunities through the sales funnel. Apply sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sale, MEDDPICC) to drive predictable revenue and improve sales efficiency. Collaborate with SDRs and Marketing to refine outbound messaging and improve lead quality. Partner with Onboarding and Customer Success teams to ensure new partners are successfully integrated and set up for long‑term success. What You Bring to the Table 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, ideally within SaaS, technology, or B2B environments. Proven ability to prospect, engage, and close new business through outbound efforts in an enterprise sales environment. Strong consultative selling skills to uncover client needs and position solutions effectively, with excellent negotiation and objection‑handling abilities. Well‑versed in sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and Challenger Sale, using these frameworks to guide partners through the buying journey. Comfortable with CRM tools (Salesforce or HubSpot), Google Suite, and sales engagement platforms for pipeline tracking and optimization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with key decision‑makers and tailor messaging to industry‑specific needs. Additional assets: Experience with SaaS or digital solutions, ABM, or outbound prospecting in niche industries. Certifications in Google Ads, Meta, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator are a plus. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
