About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Academic Transitions, the Transfer Pathways Specialist will support the development and maintenance of new undergraduate articulation, joint, and collaborative agreements. The Transfer Pathways Specialist will aid in the operationalization and administration of undergraduate transfer pathway agreements and provide support to the various units that intersect with undergraduate transfer. This role serves as a strong connection between Admissions and other internal units that intersect with undergraduate transfer pathways, including: Office of the Vice-Provost & AVP, Academic; Academic Program Chairs/Directors; Student Recruitment; Academic Advising; and the Office of the University Secretariat. li>
Identify opportunities for additional internal/external collaborations that would encourage or support increased undergraduate transfer activity.Determine barriers and complications of a proposed transfer agreement, affecting the successful transition of incoming students, and make appropriate suggestions.Strengthen relationships and maintain frequent contact with college partners to facilitate long-term relations and constant flow of students.
