Position Details Position Type: Salaried position (70BW); travel compensation is provided at minimum wage and is not included in the salaried wage. Work Schedule: Fixed rotation of 9 days within a 14‑day period, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Availability Requirements: Must be available for up to 10 hours per working day. Shifts may include a combination of day and evening hours. Transportation: Access to a personal vehicle is mandatory. Flexibility: Must be available for the full duration of scheduled availability to accept client visits. Assignment Area: No designated geographic area; assignments will vary. Work Environment: Includes a mix of retirement homes, shared care facilities, and community-based assignments, depending on branch needs. Education Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required). Attributes Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English French proficiency required for positions located within Quebec or where the French language is a service requirement Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle Required Documents 2 supervisory references A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening Proof of being negative for TB Proof of vaccination against COVID‑19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu and other illnesses as required by provincial regulations (medical exemptions considered case‑by‑case) Bayshore is committed to a high quality and safe environment for both our staff and clients/patients.
