Qualifications

Home Care Experience: Prior experience in home care is required.
Position Type: Salaried position (70BW). Travel compensation is provided at minimum wage and is not included in the salaried wage.
Work Schedule: Fixed rotation of 9 days within a 14-day period, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
Availability Requirements: Must be available for up to 10 hours per working day. Shifts may include a combination of day and evening hours, such as:

06:30–16:30
07:00–13:00
12:00–22:00
17:00–20:00

Transportation: Access to a personal vehicle is mandatory.
Flexibility: Must be available for the full duration of scheduled availability to accept client visits.
Assignment Area: No designated geographic area; assignments will vary.
Work Environment: Includes a mix of retirement homes, shared care facilities, and community-based assignments, depending on branch needs.

Education:

Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required)

Attributes:

Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken EnglishFrench proficiency required for positions located within Quebec or where French language is a service requirementValid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.

Successful candidates who are offered a position will be required to provide:

2 supervisory references, A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screeningProof of being negative for TB.
