**Hiring Personal Support Workers PSWs to join our nursing department.**

Billingswood Manor is a medium sized Senior's Residence in prime Ottawa location. We provide a comfortable, clean, upbeat environment for residents and staff. Days, Evenings, Nights and Weekends are required for this position.

**Developmental Service Workers (DSWs), nursing students, internationally educated nurses and other types of support staff are also welcome to apply**

**_Qualifications: _**

1. Previous employment in a health care/hospitality setting an asset.

2. Demonstrated understanding of/empathy for the needs of seniors.

3. Good physical and mental health and free from communicable disease.

4. Certified in CPR and First Aid recommended.

5. Good understanding of the nursing process

6. Good written and verbal communication skills.

7. Willingness to update and keep current their knowledge of changing regulations, practices and procedures.

8. PSW certification, DSW or equivalent experience if applicable.

9. Auditory and visual skills, and the ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, and push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends
