Junior to Intermediate Hydrogeologist/Environmental Scientist or Engineer

Your role at GEI.

  • Communicate with Clients and team members to coordinate and deliver projects.
  • Completion and oversight of field investigations including sampling of soil, groundwater, and surface water quality.
  • Completion of reports for Phased ESAs, DSS, Hydrogeological Studies, Landfill Monitoring reports, excess soil, ECA and PTTW/EASR applications.
  • Working with other engineering disciplines to achieve project goals.
  • Certain assignments may require that you work outside of normal work hours.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4 to 8 years of experience.
  • P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation (or working toward these designations).
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) required.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, AquiferTest, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of soils, geochemistry, environmental legislation, use of level loggers.
  • Office and field work expectations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting, and independently.
  • Possess a valid driver's licence and have access to a personal vehicle.
