Accountivity is Hiring Job Title : Tax Accountant Location : Niagara Region, ON Job Type : Permanent, Full-time Salary : $, – $, / year Hours : Monday to Friday, Standard Business Hours Our client, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their collaborative and growing team. Responsibilities Prepare T / T / T slips, pre- and post-assessment responses, and personal tax returns. Assist with CRA audits (Payroll, HST, etc.) and compilation engagements. Analyze and review financial information to ensure compliance and accuracy. Maintain organized records and documentation for all tax filings and correspondence. Provide clients with expert guidance and exceptional service. Mentor and support co-op students and junior team members. Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work. Qualifications Minimum years of experience in Public Accounting (required). Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards. CPA designation or working toward completion (preferred). Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient with accounting and tax software; strong Excel skills are an asset.
