Base pay range CA$70,000.00/yr - CA$95,000.00/yr We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Accounting professional to lead our daily financial operations and support the continued growth of our organization. This role requires strong full-cycle accounting experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Accounting & Reporting Manage full-cycle accounting, including billing, revenue recognition, expense tracking, reconciliations, and journal entries. Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Supervise AP/AR processes and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls. Manage the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department, including collections, cash application, and customer account oversight. Compliance & External Partnerships Coordinate with external auditors and financial institutions to support audit preparation and regulatory reporting. Ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax requirements, including HST/GST filings and government remittances. Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate reporting of government payroll obligations. Process Improvement & Internal Controls Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls. Review vendor agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and identify opportunities for financial savings. Qualifications 3–5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience. Experience with Sage 100 (preferred). Prior exposure to holdbacks, retainage, and contract-based billing. Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end processes. Experience with payroll and government remittances. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
