Our brewery has one of the best locations in Ontario, featuring an incredible riverside Patio, Biergarten, Taproom, and Retail Store. Trestle is a destination for visitors to the area as well as a hub for the local community and events. Our menu is Feast ON certified by the Ontario Culinary Alliance, focusing on fresh, local ingredients and incorporating our beer wherever possible. Each year, we serve around 100,000 guests onsite.We are seeking highly skilled, friendly, and hardworking individuals to be a key part of the Trestle Team and contribute to our success.About The JobWe are hiring for seasonal positions with start dates this spring/summer.A Retail Specialist at Trestle is the face of our retail store, welcoming guests and ensuring they have an exceptional shopping experience while learning about our products and what makes us special. You’ll help customers find the perfect beer, merchandise, and take-home items while providing knowledgeable recommendations and friendly service. This role is fast-paced and customer-focused, with opportunities to expand into other areas of the team.ResponsibilitiesYour day-to-day responsibilities as a Retail Specialistwill include:Greeting and providing exceptional service to all brewery guestsGuiding customers through our beer selection, merchandise, and take-home productsEducating guests on our beer, brand, and story to enhance their shopping experienceOperating the point-of-sale (POS) system for purchasesManaging stock levels, restocking shelves, and organizing displaysKeeping the retail area clean, tidy, and visually appealingAssisting with online orders, packaging, and fulfillmentHandling cash, credit, and debit transactions accuratelyAssisting guests in the Taproom and Biergarten as neededSupporting Trestle’s marketing and social media efforts by contributing content and ideasYour responsibilities may also include:Assisting with off-site events and pop-upsOpening and closing duties for the Retail Store and TaproomSupporting the Front of House team when requiredQualificationsMust be available to work a rotating schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysSmart Serve Certification is requiredRetail experience and knowledge of craft beer are considered strong assetsWho You ArePassionate about craft beer and providing an amazing guest experienceEnergetic, outgoing, and personable with strong communication skillsA team player who thrives in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsComfortable with POS systems, cash handling, and inventory managementAble to lift and carry heavy objects (beer cases, kegs, etc.) when neededWilling to learn and share knowledge about our beer and breweryWe thank all applicants for their interest.
