Join to apply for the Co-Manager I role at GUESS?, Inc. Position Overview The Co-Manager is responsible for selling floor leadership with the overall goal of customer satisfaction. They act as second in command, assisting the Store Manager in the overall running of an individual store. Reports To: Store Manager Supervises: Assists Store Manager with key holders and all store associates. Essential Functions People Development Recruitment & Retention: Network, recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-quality management and associates to fill store profiles and support succession planning. Training Completion: Ensure all associates complete training per company guidelines. Leadership by Example: Lead by example by training, developing, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising, and delivering the customer experience. Customer Experience Customer Service: Ensure an excellent level of customer service is a priority at all times by consistently executing and achieving the Customer Experience through regular assessment, coaching, and follow‑up with the team. Visual Merchandising: Implement all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom. Drive Sales & Profitability Sales Goals: Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion. Strategic Execution: Create and execute strategies to maximize store sales and control expenses. Operational Effectiveness Payroll Management: Meet all payroll expectations. Loss Prevention: Control company assets by meeting all loss prevention measures. Policy Compliance: Execute and comply with all company policies and procedures. Additional Responsibilities Decision Making: Use sound judgment when making decisions. Communication: Maintain excellent communication skills. Integrity & Respect: Act with integrity and respect. Adaptability: Adapt to changes required by the business. Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Additional Duties: Assume and complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Job Requirements Minimum two years of managerial experience with a proven track record for driving sales and profit results, and training and developing a team of individuals. Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis. High school education or equivalent preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds.
