This is a remote role that may require travel to Edmonton 1 time a quarter

Requirements:

  • Senior Business Consultant with 10+ years of experience with information management concepts, privacy, and security issues relating to FOIP.
    • Experience with business writing, communications, and documentation.
    • Experience with interpretation and application of access to information and/or privacy legislation.
    • Providing strategic advice related to organizational structure, roles, and skillsets required to ensure successful delivery of public sector outcomes.
  • 6+ years developing and delivering communications and presentations at multiple levels of an organization (e.g., Executive Management, Management, Program Sponsors, Steering Committee, Branch Managers, End Users).
  • 3+ years' experience looking up various instructions, statutes, acts, and procedures.

Additional Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience with articulating and translating technical language for non-technical customers both verbally and in writing.
  • 7+ years' experience creating flowcharts, diagrams, and analyses, including but not limited to activity, process flow, data flow, entity relationship, mind map, roadmap/plan, gap analysis, organizational chart, SWOT analysis, RACI matrix, UI wireframes, user personas/journey maps.
  • 7+ years' experience developing change management deliverables including Change Strategy and Plans, Training Strategy and Plans, Stakeholder Impact Assessments, Communication Strategy and Plans.
  • 4+ years' experience documenting business processes, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • 3+ years of direct involvement in developing best-practices documentation (for example, operational procedures, network diagrams, etc.).
  • 3+ years' experience evaluating policies, programs, and initiatives using program development principles.
  • 3+ years' experience in understanding the impact of policies, processes, and procedures on performance.
  • 3+ years' experience with the creation and implementation of management and administration processes and procedures.
