OverviewMBA | Connecting Talent to Opportunities | Hiring for Banking / Insurance / Finance / IT industriesLocationLocation Address: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid - onsite at least once a weekContractContract Duration: 5 monthsPossibility of extension & conversion to FTEPosition DetailsNumber of Positions: 1Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)Reason: additional workloadTypical Day in RoleBuild, create, and manage data loss prevention policies for the BankWork with various teams on creating policies, and with vendors to bring in updates on infrastructureWork with large software products such as Trellix, Forcepoint, Broadcom, Zscaler, GCP, Proofpoint, Big ID and MicrosoftCollaborate with other teams to support data protection objectives focused on DLPPlan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to data and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosureIdentify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plansCandidate Requirements / Must Have Skills4+ years of experience in IT Security Analyst or Cybersecurity role2+ years of combined experience with DLP technologies (McAfee/Trellix, Proofpoint, Zscaler preferred); Symantec DLP acceptable as a replacement2+ years of experience monitoring or investigating DLP incidents directly in application or console3+ years of experience with end user troubleshooting – desktop support or troubleshooting reporting, preferably using WindowsProficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced knowledge in Excel)Nice-To-Have SkillsExperience from Banking/Financial InstitutionsExperience in international regulatory and compliance frameworksExperience in infrastructure or application-level vulnerability testing and auditingExperience with Automation, APIs, and SaaS servicesMicrosoft Active Directory and file server/directory experienceCloud Security and DLP experienceApplicable security certifications (McAfee/Trellix, Proofpoint, Zscaler, or similar)Best vs. Average CandidateThe ideal candidate will have worked on data protection (data loss prevention) projects in the past and will have strong experience with the security tools listed.1 Step Process: One Microsoft Teams Video Interview (30 minutes to 1 hour)Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyGet notified about new Information Technology Security Analyst jobs in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
