As a growing and essential company, we are looking for an electrical mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose and solve pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems. As an electromechanic, you will play an essential role in maintaining and repairing of our equipment and machinery, all the while you will need to perform a variety of maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns, extend equipment life, minimize downtime and optimize overall production performance. Following the expansion of our engineering division, you will be involved in the design and manufacture of prototypes and equipment. As well as assembling control panels and programming various PLCs and robots for them.

Job type:

Day and evening, permanent, full-time

Daytime schedule

: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Evening schedule:

Monday to Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Salary:

To be discussed, depending on experience; 23,31$ - 34,00$

Evening premium:

3$ / hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support day-to-day production by performing troubleshooting to minimize downtime;

Maintain, repair and adjust production equipment.

Master welding and mechanical assembly techniques.

Carry out equipment modification projects.

Participate in the design and manufacture of new equipment.

Assemble control panels using electrical drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

DEP/ DEC in electromechanics;

Electrical certificate - C license, or in the process of obtaining it (an asset);

Knowledge of programming software for Allen-Bradley and Omron PLCs (as asset);

Knowledge of Fanuc and Motoman robots (an asset);

Bilingualism (an asset).

REQUIRED SKILLS

Excellent decision-making, problem-solving and prioritization skills;

Strong initiative and exceptional communication skills;

Strong ability to work in a team environment and in a fast-paced environment;

Experience in personnel management (an asset).

Ability to do shift rotation.
