Account Executive MaintainX is the world‑leading mobile‑first workflow management platform for industrial and frontline workers. We are a modern IoT‑enabled cloud‑based tool for maintenance, safety, and operations on equipment and facilities. MaintainX powers operational excellence for 2,000+ businesses including Univar, Quikrete, ABInBev, Duracell, Marriott and McDonald’s. We are currently looking for an Account Executive based in either Montreal, Canada or Raleigh, North Carolina. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this is a high‑responsibility, full‑cycle role from prospecting, discovery, demo, to signature. We expect the right candidate to think outside the box, thrive under pressure, and be laser‑focused on meeting monthly targets. Responsibilities New Logo Sales – Close new accounts and consistently hit target monthly, quarterly, and annually. Prospecting – Contribute to pipeline with self‑outbound prospecting; will also receive leads from marketing and BDR. Lead Conversion – Nurture warm leads from sales cycle to close. Presentation – Deliver discovery calls, product demonstrations, and closing calls. Forecast – Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales with +/- 15% accuracy. Organization – Manage multiple tasks simultaneously: leads, demos, proposals, follow‑ups. Systems – Master use of Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and other tech. Continuous Improvement – Participate in onboarding and ongoing coaching to improve performance. Thought Leadership – Build passion for our industry and stay informed. Startup Mentality – Embrace an entrepreneurial, grind‑it‑out mindset. Requirements 3+ years of total sales experience in a closing role. Documented success as a closer with ability to articulate metrics and data. Willingness to prospect and contribute to personal pipeline. Experience conducting discovery calls and product demonstrations. Comfortable moving fast, multi‑tasking, and keeping energy high. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Insanely detail‑oriented and organized. Positive, passionate, creative, smart, high‑character personality traits. BA degree or higher. Nice‑to‑Haves Experience with modern sales tech stacks such as Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etc. Experience working with startups and entrepreneurial organizations. Experience in CMMS or facility operations software. Documented success working remotely.
