How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROWAir Liquide Canada is seeking a Project Coordinator (EIT) for a 1‑year term to join the Calgary Plant Operations Team. Based in Calgary this is a critical role focused on analyzing and enhancing our plants filling processes and operational workflows. You will be the driving force behind our continuous improvement initiatives responsible for identifying inefficiencies, designing innovative solutions, and managing projects that boost productivity, ensure compliance and reduce costs. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset.Process OptimizationReview existing gas filling handling and distribution processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement data‑driven strategies to increase throughput, reduce cycle times, and minimize product loss.Project CoordinationWork with engineering projects from concept to completion. This includes supporting budgets, managing timelines, and participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or modified systems.Prepare the issuance of POs/PRs, write MOCs, execute PSSR, and work with on‑site contractors.Liaise with Air Liquide teams within Canada and the USA in relation to the project.Technical Design & AnalysisPrepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for process modifications. Perform calculations and simulations to validate proposed changes and ensure they meet performance and safety standards.Safety & ComplianceChampion a world‑class safety culture. Ensure all process improvements and plant operations adhere to provincial regulations (e.g., ABSA OHS), industry codes (e.g., CSA standards), and internal safety protocols. Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and contribute to risk assessments.Continuous ImprovementImplement and sustain methodologies like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
