OverviewMoose Knuckles is looking for an Ecommerce Platform & Optimization Manager to join our crew. This role bridges the worlds of ecommerce platform evolution, technology delivery, and performance optimization to drive exceptional digital experiences across multiple markets. As the Ecommerce Platform & Optimization Manager, you will orchestrate the roadmap and delivery of innovative ecommerce and marketing technologies, driving growth through conversion optimization, seamless UX/UI, and advanced payment and data architecture.With approximately three years of experience, you will thrive in an agile, entrepreneurial, and global retail environment—balancing platform management, experimentation, and business-focused delivery to expand customer engagement and accelerate online sales performance.Moose Knuckles values inclusion, self-expression, and individuality, and fosters a culture of boldness and collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesEcommerce Platform & Solutions ManagerOversee end-to-end delivery of ecommerce technology initiatives, working cross-functionally with marketing, design, and IT to align strategic goals.Manage Shopify Plus platform execution across markets including site rollouts, performance enhancements, payments and backend integrations.Evaluate, select, and implement third-party solutions including returns and exchange platforms, personalization tools, analytics platforms, and marketing automation technologies.Maintain technical documentation and oversee vendor performance related to ecommerce systems and integrations.Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)Lead data-driven experimentation using A/B testing and analytics to increase conversion rates.Partner with data and content teams to interpret funnel metrics and develop new hypotheses for user path improvement.Own KPIs related to on-site conversion, checkout abandonment, and engagement metrics, continuously reporting on improvements and insights.Payment System OptimizationStreamline global payment processes and partner with Finance to evaluate new payment methods and gateway integrations.Reduce cart abandonment linked to payment friction by improving UI flows, improving page load performance, and testing alternative checkout designs.Implement fraud prevention tools and ensure compliance with PCI DSS and local market payment regulations.UX/UI Development OrchestrationCollaborate with designers and front-end developers to refine and evolve the digital shopping experience in line with luxury brand standards.Conduct user testing, benchmark competitive designs, and coordinate implementation of improved site navigation, search, and merchandising functionalities.Advocate for cohesive, consistent UX across desktop, mobile, and international storefronts.Multimarket Performance & Marketing IntegrationServe as an ecommerce focal point for the integration between tech, CRO, and marketing teams.Support CRM and marketing automation tool enhancements ensuring seamless data flow for personalization and remarketing.Report on ecommerce performance across markets using GA4, Shopify analytics, and BI dashboards.Collaborate with digital marketing on audience segmentation, attribution models, and lifecycle optimization.Feature Development and PrioritizationDefine, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, considering both short-term deliverables and long-term strategic goals.Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of new features and enhancements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Technology, or related field.3+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital product, or platform management, ideally within luxury, fashion, or premium consumer brands.Demonstrated background in site optimization, usability testing, and payment or checkout enhancements.Practical knowledge of Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and A/B testing tools (Optimizely, Shoplift, VWO).Understanding data and API integrations to support omnichannel and CRM initiatives.Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.Analytical mindset with proven experience using metrics to drive decision-making.Core AttributesHighly collaborative with technical fluency to bridge digital teams and marketing leadership.Entrepreneurial and agile in full lifecycle project delivery.Customer-obsessed with sensitivity to luxury brand presentation and storytelling online.Comfortable working across markets and adapting strategies for regional performance variance.Given the international nature of our business and of this position, the candidate will be required to communicate effectively, on a regular basis, with various stakeholders located in Canada outside Quebec or throughout the world.
