We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Project Engineer to join our Edmonton, AB office. This is an opportunity to work with world-class engineers and scientists dedicated to working on civil and geotechnical engineering projects from conceptual design to final construction. On occasion your expertise may be needed by our parent company on some of their challenging international projects.
- Working on transportation infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects including Sr. li>
- Reviewing preliminary and detail designs for road and highway projects.
- Civil 3D knowledge an asset.
- Coordinating multi-discipline project teams involved in planning, design and construction work.
- Preparing transportation engineering reports.
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years related experience in highway geometric design on Alberta Transportation projects and experience carrying out municipal roadway design for Cities and Rural Municipalities.
- P3 / DB, Design experience is considered an asset.
- Proven experience with Civil 3D design software considered an asset.
- Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents.
- Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development, and other skills appropriate to consulting.
- Eligible for overtime (calculated at 1.li>
