Automotive Service Manager

At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience. We are looking for automotive service managers to manage and direct all service department activities of a retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. This position is a Store Manager developmental role. Midas is committed to training our associates and promoting from within the organization. Responsibilities As a Midas automotive service manager, you will manage and lead all automotive service technicians in the operation of the shop, including:Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customersFollowing up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.Deliver complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing partsDeliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specialsSupervise up to ten employeesMaintain inventory countsOverall cleanliness and organization of the facilityOther duties as assignedQualificationsA minimum of 2 years of service advisor or service manager experienceGeneral automotive knowledgeExcellent customer service dispositionGood communication skillsLeadership abilityTeam-building skillsValid driver’s license Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourJoin Our TeamAs one of the largest destinations for automotive services, Midas is dominating the industry in developing career paths and building relationships within the communities they serve.At Midas, we take care of everything… tires, brakes, oil… so the opportunities to grow and develop expertise with Midas are endless.www.midas.comMIDAS locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees.
