Project Coordinator - Civil & Infrastructure3 weeks ago • Be among the first 25 applicantsAbout the RoleAs a Project Coordinator within Pomerleau's Civil & Infrastructure division, you will play a key role at the heart of the Heavy Earthworks business unit. You'll manage multiple activities and schedules to gain a clearer view of customer, team and project needs. Working on large‑scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you'll play a crucial role in communicating with stakeholders, ensuring resource availability and overseeing various administrative tasks.ResponsibilitiesAssist the project team with projects coordination and administrative support.Ensure open lines of communication among team members, trade partners, consultants and clients.Review, interpret and update construction schedules.Maintain, review and follow up on shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.Review, collect and analyze project quotes, seeking the best prices in the market.Own the collection and completion of company‑wide project reports for assigned projects.Promote Pomerleau’s HS&E programs by applying project‑specific safety standards and ensuring compliance with OH&S acts, regulations and codes.Qualifications1‑3 years of working experience in the construction industry.A university degree or technology diploma in engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.Passion for providing exceptional client service.Proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.BenefitsRRSP with up to 5% employer matching.Hybrid work model for corporate roles.Employee stock ownership program.Career growth through real development opportunities.Transit pass reimbursement.Minimum 4 weeks of vacation from day one.Company CulturePomerleau is a national leader in construction, delivering major projects across Canada.
