OverviewThe Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing overall administrative and technical expertise required support to a large-scale construction project.Primary Scope of RoleAssist the Superintendent in managing work on-site to ensure the compliance of construction with the drawings and specificationsSupport the Superintendent and Project Manager in planning and implementing schedules, determining manpower levels, material quantities, inspections, equipment, and requirements are maintainedMonitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are being followedAdvise of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problemsMaintain and analyze up-to-date cost reports and submit necessary changes to ensure the project is delivered within budgetMeet with Owners and Consultants, and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the companyMonitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, equipment maintenance, safety and quality controlInterfaces with project team, subcontractors and related third partiesMonitors and inspects project site to maintain a safe work environment and provides leadership to ensure policies, procedures and standards are followed.Position RequirementsBachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. A EIT or CET designation is preferred2 years of construction experience desiredExperience on large construction projects is desiredResults-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.Superb communication and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.About UsOur PeopleAt Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
