Job Description

Purpose

Drive and implement the strategy development and execution for Patient Services by partnering with BTS, APS Business Leads, Finance, and other stakeholders for a comprehensive strategy on the APS portfolio of programs and the enabling systems to support those programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provides APS strategic and operational options for the department, including contingency planning. Oversees the collection, synthesis and communication of relevant external information that informs the APS strategy across all functions. Coordinates competitive intelligence for APS to turn data and insights into useful working knowledge for disease area experts in support of achieving strategic imperatives.
  • Identify needs and provide recommendations to APS VP in supporting the achievement of corporate goals while responding effectively to changing priorities to drive and implement enterprise planning.
  • Strategically partner with APS Finance through the various financial planning cycles and ensure governance, tracking and reporting of SG&A and Capital is effectively managed through the APS portfolio.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree required. li>
    • At least ten years industry experience in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or other Healthcare related field. Certification in Project Management and/or Lean Six Sigma Experience or Knowledge preferred.
    • Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate others in a complex, multi-functional matrix environment.
    • Strong implementer with attention to detail and business acumen with accounting competence for management of multi-million-dollar budget.
    • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills; able to independently manage workload, set personal, team priorities, and adjust as needed.
    • Excellent relationship building skills and demonstrated diplomacy when working cross-functionally.
