What You’ll Be Doing As a Branch Assistant in CIBC’s Wood Gundy team, you will provide ongoing support to the Branch Manager and their team by managing the reception area of the Wood Gundy branch and delivering excellent customer service to high net‑worth clients. You will also ensure efficient branch operations through a wide range of administrative activities. How You’ll Succeed Client engagement – on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful and meet client needs. Relationship building – raise CIBC brand awareness in the community by attending local events and collaborating with marketing and outreach activities. Innovation – assist in problem‑solving and often go above and beyond to find solutions. Administrative support – maintain compliance standards in client dealings, manage client files, and engage in administrative processes associated with branch management. Who You Are Detail‑oriented with strong critical thinking skills. Client‑focused, always eager to find the right solutions and willing to go the extra mile. Passionate about learning, with a strong sense of curiosity. Respectful of people and different perspectives, and a good listener. Has a degree/diploma in business (CSC is an asset).
