Reporting directly to the IT Manager, youll play a key role in supporting and optimizing critical clinical and business applications that keep radiology operations running smoothly.This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a healthcare IT environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a real impact on patient care through technology. What Youll DoSupport and maintain applications: Provide day-to-day technical and application support for clinical systems.Train and assist users: Deliver hands-on training and support for radiologists and staff.Resolve issues efficiently: Partner with the helpdesk and IT team to troubleshoot and resolve application-related problems.Improve workflows: Model and document clinical and technical workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy.Enhance applications: Participate in upgrade and enhancement projects gathering requirements, coordinating testing, and supporting implementation.Apply IT best practices: Contribute to ITIL processes (Problem, Change, Release, Security, and Asset Management).Protect data: Ensure compliance with all privacy, confidentiality, and security policies. What You BringEducation: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).Technical Skills:Experience with Mirth Connect, HL7, DICOM, and JavaScript is highly desirable.Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems or previous experience in a radiology/healthcare setting is a strong asset.Background in Application Support, Business Analysis, Training, or Helpdesk roles is an advantage.A Diploma or Certificate in Medical Diagnostic Healthcare Informatics is a plus.
