Occupational Therapist, Pediatrics - Calgary, AB As an Occupational Therapist (OT) on our team you are responsible for developing programs that enable children (age 2‑18) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to participate in activities that occupy their daily lives. Work setting: community-basedWork schedule: 25 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 11am–7pm) What you will do each day Assess client needs and family priorities as part of an interdisciplinary team Complete assessments using tools such as standardized tests, criterion or curriculum‑referenced materials, or checklists Develop and implement a treatment plan for each client based on assessment results Develop reports as required Consult to Behaviour Analysts supervising Applied Behaviour Analysis Programs for children with ASD and other needs Work collaboratively with family and other community professionals Maintain knowledge in current evidence‑based practices Collect data and make evidence‑based decisions in treatment Supervise students pursuing education in Occupational Therapy Represent OT department at Monarch House, contributing to clinical policies and procedures and centre‑wide visions Qualifications At least 1 year of experience working with children with ASD Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy Experience with assessment tools (standardized tests, etc.) Knowledge of current research and literature in OT Member of ACOT & CAOT Strong interpersonal and communication skills Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle Flexibility in scheduling clients What we offer Competitive compensation Supervision hours for aspiring and provisionally registered clinicians Access to mentorship, premium resources, and subscriptions for professional growth Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family (if eligible) Flexible work options: choose from a 3‑day, 4‑day, or 5‑day work week (for clinicians only) Seamlessly move to different clinic locations across Ontario, Alberta, or British Columbia Annual Best Practice Day for learning and reflection with national community of clinicians Paid Time Off and Wellness Days (pro‑rated for hourly staff) Exclusive unlimited employee discounts (hotels, cinema, Apple products, etc.) Mileage covered (for float staff and clinicians traveling to multiple centres and/or the community) About Monarch House Established in 2009 in British Columbia, Monarch House is an interdisciplinary treatment centre for individuals with ASD and their families.
