Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Benefits & Pension Consulting, the Director of Client Partnerships is a key member in ensuring success with our client relationships.Analyze data and trends to enhance overall client service performance
Lead and manage a team of client service professionals by providing coaching and mentoring - setting goals, providing guidance and evaluating performance
Manage budgets for the client service team
Provide the Sr VP monthly reporting related to strategic initiatives & KPIs related to performance of team
Provide subject matter expertise and updates regarding industry trends and guidance on complex topics (e.g. interpretation of contract and policy language)
Work collaboratively with the Benefits & Pension Consulting senior management team and the other lines of business within Cowan to implement new products and processes to meet the strategic business plan/expectations
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as business or management, or a related discipline.5 years or more of benefits experience or equivalent, preferably in a benefits consulting or insurance setting
Experience in leading and motivating high performance teams and culture
Knowledge of MS apps, including Word, Excel and Outlook are required.Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.Superior organizational and time management skills with experience handling multiple priorities and requests.Proudly independent and Canadian-owned, Cowan Insurance Group has been a true market leader in the insurance industry since 1927.
